What We Do

"Connecting  Others to Christ" is the logo found on my church's website. We are about opening our hearts, giving  our time and our service, finding ways to reach our community, and concentrating our prayers,  all to bring our community to know Christ.  In Acts1:8 Christ told his followers saying, " But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, andto the end of the earth.”

In all areas of our lives, we, the church or rather the body of believers,  are to spread the Good News of Christ. The verse I learned as a young child, John 3:16, is what we live,  breath, proclaim,  and share in the grocery, to our neighbors, on the golf course, in the building that we call a church, and anywhere we can. We have been given the Holy Spirit to be our helper, to guide us as we share Jesus Christ,  and we have the gift of prayer. We can go to our Father at anytime and He hears us.

We are equipped with God's Word, the Holy Spirit, and prayer to our Heavenly Father. We know what Jesus commanded. We are the body of believers. We have work to do!

Romans 10:13-14 ESV

"For 'everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.' How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching?"
