Biblical hope: the confident expectation of what God has promised and its strength is in His faithfulness.

Peter 1:3-9 ESV
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you, who by God’s power are being guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. In this you rejoice, though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been grieved by various trials, so that the tested genuineness of your faith—more precious than gold that perishes though it is tested by fire—may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ. Though you do not now see him, you believe in him and rejoice with joy that is inexpressible and filled with glory, obtaining the outcome of your faith, the salvation of your souls.

Know this, my beloved brothers: let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger; for the anger of man does not produce the righteousness of God.

Proverbs 29:11 ESV
A fool gives full vent to his spirit, but a wise man quietly holds it back.

Work: Exertion or effort directed to produce or accomplish something; labor; toil.

Colossians 3:23-24 ESV
Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.

Luke 10:2 ESV
And he said to them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his

As followers of Christ we have hope, in an eternity in the presence of our Mighty God. That hope is grounded in God's promises and the gift of life our Loving Father gave us through His Son.  Even in the midst of chaos, we can quieten our hearts with knowledge of our inheritance through Jesus Christ. We have work do do and our world needs to hear our voice. The harvest is great. Do we allow Satan to sow anger
in our hearts,  or do we roll up our sleeves and bring in the harvest.  We indeed have a choice. How will you be defined?
