Last week we saw Jesus forgive the sins of a paralyzed man demonstrating the power of God alone. Today we pick up at Luke 6:6 Jesus heals again on the Sabbath, the twelve Apostles are named, and the Beatitudes.

Luke Lesson 10 Study Questions

1.    The scribes and Pharisees watched Him closely, whether He would heal on the Sabbath: By their very actions, the Pharisees admitted that Jesus had the _______ of God to work _________, yet they sought to trap Him.

2.    Is it lawful on the Sabbath to do good or to do evil, to save life or to destroy? In His question to the religious leaders, Jesus emphasized the ______ about the Sabbath. There is never a _______ day to do something truly good.
