chapel outreach ministry

Outreach is not an auxiliary program or an isolated activity.  It is embedded in the Great Commission given by our Lord Jesus Christ to make disciples of all people, and it is essential to the Church in fulfilling this charge. Outreach is involved in daily Christian living, and all service to the Church, in one way or another, supports her outreach.  But there are key areas in the life of the Chapel that are particularly related to outreach.  Please prayerfully consider if God may be calling you to participate in one (or more!) of these areas.  Attend our meetings or visit the Ministry Outreach page to find out about current opportunities...

Can't make the meetings, that is ok.  We have Resource Persons listed with each opportunity of Ministry Outreach.  "Resource Persons" are those who are available to be contacted for information about current opportunities, or to give you helpful guidance in pursuing a ministry idea that is on your mind and heart.

prayer

Allowing the Holy Spirit to lead us and seeking God's helo and provision through prayer is the undergirding to all that we do to outreach.  We need people praying—faithfully, specifically, and on a regular basis, together—for the Chapel, and specifically, for outreach.  Can you be part of our prayer support?

Bill Lyle leads a Prayer Workshop Tuesdays @ 6:00pm.

personal invitations

Personal invitations range from inviting someone you just met to church, to a brief conversation with a neighbor, to a more organized plan for contacting and inviting others to the Chapel.  There are things to learn from others and skill sets that can be developed to any of these varied types of activities that can be very helpful.

Public and social media

Public Media, both electronic and printed (such as our streamed messages and Bible studies, printed publicity, etc.) and social media (such as Facebook) are ways that the Chapel communicates, directly and indirectly, with many persons who may be "checking us out" as a part of their decision regarding attending.  If you have skills in this area, there may be an opportunity of service for you.L
