Last week we ended with Elizabeth's blessing of Mary, so this week we will be in Mary's song or as it has become known "The Magnificat" which comes from the Latin translation of the first few words, or "My Soul"
Luke Lesson 3 Study Questions
1. My soul magnifies the Lord: This song (often called the Magnificat, after the Latin translation of the first few words) (My Soul) and it resembles Hannah’s song in 1 Samuel 2:1-10, but it also has at least 12 other allusions to the Old Testament.
